DPT, FAAOMPT, OCS

I am a board-certified orthopedic physical therapist and fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. I have over 15 years of clinical practice since graduating from the #1 ranked Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Southern California. USC is ultimately what took this New Yorker out West.

I began my practice at the prestigious Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago where I worked with various health care professionals in a team-based environment. From RIC, I moved to San Diego and worked as a clinician and educator. I was an adjunct faculty member for several years before opening my private practice.

Special Interests:

I loved golf the moment I was exposed to it in San Diego. Being a former athlete and well-trained at biomechanics, golf became a perfect match. This passion is what led me to become a Level Three Certified Medical Professional at the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). He uses his knowledge of biomechanics as a basis for functional screening relating to swing mechanics. Over his years of training, I have come to realize that there is no “cookie cutter” approach to movement dysfunction. Individual screening needs to be emphasized due to the unique movement patterns of each person. This is one of the main reasons he employs state of the art technology to help with the evaluation process such as real-time ultrasound imaging (RUSI) and three dimensional motion capture analysis. After the assessment, hands-on treatment with a very specific corrective exercise / movement program is typically prescribed.
